Places of Interest

The guesthouse is situated 10 - 20 minutes walk from the centre of town. We over look open land and a nearby park. We are only a few miles from the birth place of Captain James Cook and the Yorkshire moors are only 30 minutes drive away, which is ideal walking/hiking country with very famous walks on the doorstep e.g. Coast to Coast

We have good museums, shopping, restaurants all on the door step. The coastal towns of Redcar, Whitby, Saltburn are also up to 30 minutes drive away making the guesthouse an ideal place to stay.

Middlesbrough is also home of the only Transporter bridge in England, ferrying cars and pedestrians over the river tees.

Also the Middlesbrough Football Club's ground is nearby, where you can be taken on guided tours around the ground, eat in their restaurant, and not forgetting watch football matches.
